What does a band call to mind?

I didn't think I would return to Car Seat Headrest. I made a video about them in 2016, and it was reductive and poorly made. It broke any kind of connection I had with that band, and while it did well on YouTube, I was never happy with it. However, when I listened to the 2018 Twin Fantasy.. memories started flooding in. Car Seat Headrest is a band I spent my adolescence with. Each song on Twin Fantasy is a memory of a tumultuous time in my life. So, I decided I would have a video where I laid all the cards out on the table. This isn't an analysis of Car Seat Headrest. This is my story. This is my personal memoir.

The video did well for a channel of my size on YouTube, and was even retweeted by Matador Records, the label that hosts Car Seat Headrest. Some members of the band definitely saw it, but I am still unsure whether or not the front-man, Will Toledo, has viewed it. The video is a send-off toward my adolescence in hopeful optimism for the future.
