Photography

The National Museum of Transportation in St. Louis, Missouri boasts one of the most impressive historical collections of trains and automobiles in the world. I have had the pleasure over the last year or so to be an official photographer and videographer for the museum. My photography, featured above or in the flickr link below, aims at not only capturing the museum’s impressive collection in an artistic way, but also bringing the viewer into the historical context the museum provides, through careful attention to post-processing of each photo. My photography have been used on the museum’s official newsletter, website, social media outlets, and more.

Videography

Along with my photos, my brother and I have also produced a series of short, documentary style, videos for the museum’s social media. These include interviews on how the different exhibits are maintained, the artifacts the museum displays, the miniature train, and more. My work consists primarily of lighting, cinematography, and motion graphic design for these videos. The museum logo animation I did by tracing the existing logo in Illustrator and animating the individual elements in After Effects, and any other motion graphic is entirely designed and animated by me. All of these can be found on the National Museum of Transportation YouTube channel, and some are linked below.
